How to play Chicken Road

Steps follow the How to play screen of the provider’s demo.

  1. Pick a level: Easy has 24 lines to cross, Medium 22, Hard 20 and Hardcore 15.

  2. Set the bet. The provider’s demo accepts 0.01–150 USD.

  3. Take a step: the chicken moves to the next line and the multiplier grows.

  4. After each step, cash out at the current multiplier or take the next step.

  5. A collision ends the run and the bet is lost. The provider’s rules call it getting fried.

Difficulty levels and step multipliers explained

The level decides how many lines the chicken has to cross and how fast the multiplier grows. Easy has 24 lines, Medium 22, Hard 20 and Hardcore 15. The provider states that the number of lines and the chance of getting fried depend on the level, and that the risk grows with each step. The table shows the multiplier after the 1st, 3rd, 5th and 10th step and at the last step of each level.

Step multipliers by level
LevelLinesStep 1Step 3Step 5Step 10Last step
Easy 241.03×1.12×1.23×1.63×19.44×
Medium 221.12×1.47×1.98×4.96×1,788.80×

The provider’s demo caps the payout of one bet at 10,000 USD. Divided by a multiplier, the cap gives the largest bet that step can pay in full: for the last step of Hard, 41,321.43×, about 0.24 USD. The last step of Hardcore, 2,542,251.93×, is above the cap even at the minimum bet of 0.01 USD, which would pay 25,422.52 USD. The operator sets its own cap. This is our calculation.

Chicken Road FAQ

How can I play the chicken game?

Pick a level (Easy, Medium, Hard or Hardcore), set the bet and take a step: the chicken moves to the next line and the multiplier grows. After each step you can cash out or go on. A collision ends the run and the bet is lost.

Is the Chicken Road app available on Google Play?

InOut does not declare a Chicken Road app; its game page offers only Demo Play, Contact us and Promo pack. A Google Play search in Nigeria on 27 September 2026 showed no app by InOut, only 12 apps with similar names from 9 other developers. Treat APK files from other sites as unofficial.

Is Chicken Road a real gambling game?

Yes. Chicken Road is a game by InOut Games, released on 4 April 2024, and its stated RTP is 98 %. Played with real stakes, it is gambling: a bet can be lost, and RTP is an average over many bets, not a forecast for one run. In the demo, credits are used instead of money.

Does the Chicken Road game give money?

In the demo, no: it uses demo credits, not money. In a version with real stakes, every step raises the multiplier, but a collision loses the bet. The stated RTP of 98 % is a long-run average over all bets, so no player can count on a payout. InOut declares no app at all.

Chicken Road vs Chicken Road 2: what is different?

On the provider’s pages, Chicken Road has an RTP of 98 % and was released on 4 April 2024. Chicken Road 2.0 has an RTP of 95.5 % and was released on 15 April 2025. Both are single-player games. We did not check the levels, multiplier scales or limits of Chicken Road 2.0.

Can you play Chicken Road for free?

Yes. The demo on this page runs through SlotsLaunch from InOut Games’ test server, with demo credits, so no real money is staked. InOut also has a Demo Play button on inout.games. Our figures come from the provider’s own demo in USD, and the test server or an operator’s version can differ.

Which gambling site has the chicken game?

We do not name or compare operators. The game belongs to InOut Games, and Nigeria is not on the provider’s list of restricted countries (checked 27 September 2026). Gambling in Nigeria is regulated by states, so check the operator’s licence for your state first and read our responsible gambling page.
